After a tremendous run through State during the varsity season, the Hastings 16-U Girls Fastpitch Softball Team is playing very well in the talent-laden Minnesota Elite League this summer. Coach Dean Robinson joined KDWA Sports.

Augustana’s 19th Annual Golf Tournament will be on Monday, July 20th, at the Wild’s Golf Club. KDWA spoke with Tournament Organizer Francis Roen about this year’s tournament.
On June 26th the fire department responded to a vehicle fire near the intersection of Orlando Avenue and Highway 316. A fire broke out in the engine area of a RV Camper. The call came in to the department at 9:15 pm. The fire was extinguished and the scene was cleared at 9:40.
The Hastings Police reports during the last week included: one burglary report, four reports of property damage, two theft reports and one report of a vehicle-related theft.
