First Presbyterian gets first Female Pastor
The First Presbyterian Church of Hastings got a new first recently - the first female pastor in the church’s history. KDWA spoke with Pastor April Davis Campbell about being the first woman pastor at first Presbyterian Church.
Predatory Offender Charged with Failure to Register
20-year-old Karonie Daron Streeter has been charged with failure to register as a predatory offender. In September of 2010, Streeter was convicted of terroristic threats, an offense arising out of the same set of circumstances as a charge of false imprisonment. 
Hastings Grad is Peer Educator at BSU
Kalli Kieffer, who is from Hastings, and a freshman at Bemidji State University, has been trained as a peer educator. Bemidji State University’s Lifestyle Educators are student peer educators who are trained to give accurate and current health information to their peers.
