The Hastings Raiders Girls Softball Program is also in the midst of assembling their 5th annual "Catch the Big One" Ice Fishing Tournament coming up in three weeks. Coach Dean Robinson has all of the details.

Raiders Sweep Triangular Friday
The Hastings Raiders Wrestling Team plowed through East Ridge 77-6, and then Eastview 56-16 in their home triangular Friday. The Raiders also honored all of the "Future Raiders" as the Middle School Wrestlers were recognized.
Baseball Dinner Only Weeks Away
Head Coach Paul Hartmann of the Hastings Raiders Baseball Team joined KDWA Sports to chat about the upcoming Pre-Season Raider Baseball Fundraiser Dinner, coming up in late February.

In Thursday's big interview with Park Athletic Director Phil Kuemmel, he talked about the two options Park will explore, including joining the Classic Suburban, or forming an all-new conference with other area schools.
Bridge Project Update
As mentioned before, much of the current construction activity on the new Highway 61 Mississippi River Bridge centers on completing the piers - the concrete columns that will support the bridge and roadway. The roadway will split south of the river. As a result, separate sets of land piers will carry the northbound and southbound lanes. Piers one through four for the southbound lanes are all complete.
Hastings School Board Elects Cater as Chair
Hastings School District 200 has sworn in it’s newly elected board members, and elected a new board chair. KDWA spoke with Hastings School District 200, Superintendent, Tim Collins, about the new school board.
Frosty Frolic was Thursday
The City of Hastings held it’s annual Frosty Frolic on Thursday, January 26th, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Pioneer Park. KDWA spoke with Darby Johnson from the Parks and Recreation Department about the Frosty Frolic.
