NO COACHES SHOWS THIS WEEKEND: With the Annual Project Share Broadcast on the air from 9am-1pm on Saturday, there will be NO COACHES SHOWS this Saturday 12/5! The Shows will be back at their normal 9am and Noon Time Slots from Perkins and Links On The River, Next Saturday, December 12th! KDWA Sports will still be broadcasting Saturday's matinee Boys Hockey Broadcast From Aldrich Arena, as Hastings takes on White Bear Lake, at 3:00pm Saturday afternoon.
ANOTHER BIG WEEK OF SPORTS: Now that the 2009-10 Winter Sports Season is underway full-blast throughout the Tri-County Area, many of the teams already have some big games, or meets this week. Many of those match-up’s will be heard LIVE on AM 1460 KDWA Radio, featuring the Hastings Raiders Boys, and Girls Basketball Teams, along with the Hastings Raider Wrestlers, as well! Let’s take a look at some of the marquee games and meets throughout the week LIVE on AM 1460 KDWA Radio.
BIGGEST TEST TO DATE TUESDAY: The Hastings Raiders (Girls) Hockey Team will open the week LIVE on AM 1460 KDWA Radio, as the Raiders host the Stillwater Ponies, one of the top two teams in the State Of Minnesota, on Tuesday night. Join KDWA Radio’s Nick Tuckner from “The Perch” at the Hastings Civic Arena, as the Suburban East Conference Rivals clash, with your Pre-Game Show at 7:15pm, and the face-off to follow at 7:30pm!!!
NEW RIVALRY BEGINS THURSDAY: One of the more-anticipated Boys Hockey Games of the 2009-10 Season will also entertain fans this week, as the Hastings Raider Boys will make the trip up Highway 61, to the Cottage Grove Arena, in the Inaugural Game between Hastings and the brand-new East Ridge High School, in District 833. Join KDWA’s Nick Tuckner once again, this time from the Cottage Grove Arena, as the Pre-Game opens the LIVE broadcast at 7:15pm, and the face-off to follow at approximately 7:30pm.
OLD RIVALRY CONTINUES FRIDAY: As the Boys Hockey Team opened a new rivalry with East Ridge on Thursday, the Hastings Raiders Wrestling Team will continue one of their oldest duals, as the Raiders will once again be back in Cottage Grove, this time at Park High School, as Hastings battles Park in the Suburban East Dual Meet Opener. Join Nick Tuckner and Kyle Benson for the action Friday night, at 7:30pm!
WEEK CLOSES WITH MATINEE’: The Hastings Raiders (Boys) Hockey Team will travel to Shoreview Arena on Saturday afternoon 12/12, for a match-up with Mounds View, LIVE on KDWA Radio at 3:00pm!!!
